MAGICAL DUTIES OF SMILING

Have you ever wondered why the word SMILE came into existence? A lot of people seem to be burdened with the problems roaming around them that they let the act of smiling depart from their faces. Have you ever wondered why the word "MILE" is formed when you remove the first letter "S"?

I want you to imagine the letter “S” in “smile” to represent the word “Smoothen”. The Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines a mile as "a great distance". Combining both we have the sentence “Smoothen a great distance”. People frown when they feel sad, and they feel sad when they believe their path is not working anymore, or worse still, very rough to take. By smiling, we help them see a better chance through that same rough-looking path. By just the act we can move ourselves and people around us through a great distance; a great distance towards happiness, a great distance towards fulfillment, a great distance towards good health, a great distance away from sorrow, a great distance away from hatred and abhorrence. 

Smiling transforms you and everything around you- This is one topic science and religions tend to agree on. By just smiling to that person who has a suicidal thought you can move the person a great distance away from such thought and make them know that it is not yet over.

Psychologically, smiling is said to influence your viewer’s mindset. They get to forget whatever problem they have for a moment at least. Smile to brighten someone else's day. Try smiling at someone who looks like he or she needs a positive boost today. One genuine smile can make a difference in someone's day. Smiling at someone else can make you feel better, fulfilled and also improve your day in the process.

Medically, smiling has been proved to have great importance. 
1. When you laugh, your body releases endorphins. These are brain chemicals known as neurotransmitters which makes one feel happy.
2. Smiling has been shown medically to be a natural pain and stress reliever.
3. Laughing reduces levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, and gives a quick burst of energy.
4. A good laugh can be beneficial to the lungs, boost immunity, and could even burn off calories.

Smiling is one of the very few things that are contagious without a negative effect. It is evident that everyone looks better when they smile- it will be strange if you are yet to know that. You look attractive and relaxed when you smile. You even look reliable and sincere when smiling. You should start smiling already.

People that smile have more friends and are closer to being successful, by appearing more confident and approachable. You do not have the worst problem on earth. No matter what you suffer today there is someone else out there who would prefer to be in your condition than spend a second more in theirs. Funny enough, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile.


You can be sure that you are better than a lot of people. You are just one, in over a billion persons on earth, who does not know what their fettle in life looks like. So why not smile today. There is a beggar on the road who has no family, why not smile to him or her; there is that orphan who has no parent, why not smile to him or her; there is that friend of yours who thinks the world is over, why not smile to them and tell them that all is well. Remember that the word smile has a great distance in it. You might be saving a soul today by just smiling. You might be saving your own soul too by just smiling. Remember that there is definitely something to smile over for you at all times. Do not forget such things in tough times. The problem or problems you have today should not define the person you will become tomorrow. So just keep calm, remind yourself that you have a great distance to move by just SMILING, and GIVE YOUR FROWN A REST.
