YOU'RE MY FRIEND

You're my friend! 
In a world where words have lost their meaning, 
It's harder to explain than to express  
The quality of my vocabulary  
Without tripping over alphabets 
When I say 'You and I' 

You're my friend! 
Even with advanced self-awareness, 
We humans still run on hunches 
And emotions, and what-nots. 
Misunderstandings lie in between the lines; 
There is no more platonic without sex 

You're my friend! 
The world may see through a mist 
And perceive what is not, 
But when you see me on my knees 
Consider this, I might be tying your shoelace 
And not asking for your hand in marriage  
Because you're my friend!

A lot of people seem to be burdened with the problems roaming around them that they let the act of smiling depart from their faces. Have you ever wondered why the word "MILE" is formed when you remove the first letter "S"? I want you to imagine the letter “S” in “smile” to represent the word “Smoothen”. The Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines a mile as "a great distance". Combining both we have the sentence “Smoothen a great distance”.
